Edit: the shadow bothers me...still trying to get rid of it...would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on this (pun intended, :D)...thanks:)

lovely shot! Kurt i suggest playing with your defusser abit to get better lighting to stop that issue!

I can't see any problem with shadow- I actually prefer to see that rather than too flat lighting.
Assume you have a single flash with the diffuser slightly to one side ? In this case the only way to reduce shadows would be to have the flash more centrally above the lens or to shoot from a slightly higher angle or to try and make sure the BG is closer to throw some light around.. Obviously using a macro duel head flash would help stop it.

MT-24ex would allow one flash to fire head on and the other from below but really not a problem here.

Thanks for the comment, Paul. I tried that...didn't see anything weird...but i got real dizzy :D
