Its 3am, and I am still up screwing around with my gear :) Luckly I am off Monday. I went to put my gear up, but decided to mess around a little bit more and try a little bit of macro with the macro lens, indoors with my 430ex flash. I wanted to see what would happen if I bounced the flash off a wall (about 2 feet away from the quarter I was shooting) I used a very open lens as well.
Its been so long, I forgot how touchy the focus was, but I think the experiment gave me some useful info, I can bounce the flash, but I do have to dial in exposure just a bit more because this did create some hot spots.
So, here is a 100% crop
