Hi, is there anyone in the forum that's from Oregon, Portland in particular? I just want to know if anyone knows of any good spots for photos in Oregon or even Washington, if so, how do you find them? Please let me know, thanks.

Not from WA or OR but you want to know if there is any nice shots? Nice shots are found anywhere and everywhere. Nice shot or bad shot has to do with the person taking the picture and not really the location.

yeah, you're right, I guess I was talking more about spectular scenery and such, something you don't see often or on a day to day basis............

Search the Internet for all of the national parks near you, then repeat for all of the state parks, then the county parks, and then city parks. Once you come back from that, there will be more.
In one national park near me, virtually 98% of all visitors never get beyond the road or a hundred yards from the road. That leaves a lot of open country for a photographer to roam.

You are right Bob, I live 4 hours away from Jasper National Park, in Alberta. This is some of the nicest land on all of earth. It isn't even swarming with Torists like Banff, AB or Yosimite park (USA). I regret not going there as much as I can but the last time I went there, we pulled over to the side of the road and just walked out and straight into the wild. Sure it can be dangerous but it was so amazing going to a place where at best only a few people have ever bothered to venture. I only wish I had a camera on me when I went.
