I'm going to be re-doing my home office soon and wanted to get some inspiration. I searched for 'home office' and only found a handful of threads.

I focus on wedding and event photography, so no home-studio at this time. My room is about 12'x12' (I think).

Photos of your home office would be greatly appreciated!

I updated my office a few weeks ago, here is what we came up with. I am sitting at the desk while taking the picture. No picture of the desk, sorry, but its a modern looking ikea desk that is the same color as the bookshelf on the right. I am still in the process of adding more framed images, so the wall is a little bare.

I LOVE the accent wall Chris! It's very clean.

On the other hand, I like jsanz11's storage spaces.

I need a happy medium of the two: storage space, but the feeling of a large room.

Stunning! Facilitates creativity.

Our office must move us. Where else do we spend more time?

OK, I'll play. I revamped my "wifes";) office for her this past fall. A MAJOR inprovement over the kitchen counter top I had in there prior to the make over.

Also, please excuse the quality of the photo's. My wife took them with her p&s will I was nailing down the last of the baseboard.

Depends do you want to meet clients etc in there if so you really want a clean professional look/ the first one, if not then just get a lot of shelves, a big desk and some cupboards... as what you want is as much space to work on as possible and the rest for storage... :)

No clients in this area... my current office is a spare bedroom in my home, that was my wife's 'craft room' prior to me starting my business. It's a lovely shade of pepto-bismal pink at the moment, and I'm going mad!

I want something with storage, but that is peaceful to be in, and sparks my creativity. I like the idea of a custom-built double desk and am handy with the tools to make it. It has two closets in it and I could convert them into organized storage.

Someday I hope to convert our single-car garage into a professional office with a separate entrance for clients and everything.

This topic must me destined to be a dead-end one... seems all the threads started about home offices die quickly.

Still looking for ideas though. Maybe I should post up some photos of what my current setup looks like??? It's pretty ugly though!

Alright... here it is! I'm a guy, and I don't like pink... especially for my office! I'm looking for simple, peaceful, but useful office space for myself to work in and maybe my wife/photog. asst.

This is my business partners garage conversion where we meet clients and its connected to the house via a room we use as an office thats just off the front door so its a great little setup. Clients come in the front door and turn right into the office, which is quite a hectic place with stuff all over the walls (but it looks quite creative and busy) and then through the archway into the meeting room.

He has added a few things since these pics were taken (cabinet in corner for AV equipment and a few other things) but you get the general idea.

He took quite a few pics as he was doing it which can be seen on our blog here http://boundlessphotos.blogspot.com/search/label/Garage%20Conversion

Last pics is how it originally started life, quite a change eh :) Good luck with whatever you do, dont underestimate how much time it takes if you do it yourself, Nick was at it for a long time between work and part time photography during our off season.

OK, this is mr newly re-done office/work space. I bought a second hand 3 drawer lateral file cabinet for business and personal files, and the photo printer sits on top. Bought the tall and short cubbyhole storage and the work table at IKEA. The storage on the left was already in the house when we bought it, and there's a bookcase near the french door outside. I don't meet clients here, it's stictly a workroom/storage space, but now that it's organized, I feel much better about it. I usually meet clients in our diningroom(which adjoins).
