Here's a peaceful morning scene from Muir Woods Nat'l Monument in Northern California. Muir Woods is one of the few remaining areas of virgin redwood forests.

Very nice. In 3 visits, I've never seen the sun there. You were lucky, or able to pick your time.

Thanks, Stan. Its more luck than anything else. Like you, I live far away from California (New Hampshire), so I have to plan a trip like that far in advance. The week before, California was getting lots of rain!
