Yes Another Business/web domain thread, but i have this down to just a few options So this shouldnt take too much of your time.

My name is Robert Bridgens, and although i originally wanted to do something original for a company/domain name, other than joeblogsphoto etc, i think its more important to make sure my name is the focus for marketing purposes etc. If you could vote on the options above i would be very grateful.
If you can think of anything better, please do reply to this thread. I personally dislike my name as i don't think it rolls off the tongue very well, but maybe i have that perception because it is my own name?

Any comments very welcome,

Many thanks

Rob

Heyya Rob,

Ever considered a .co.uk domain? Google searches will help you out there. Or even own both domain names.

Well, I had a similar problem with my name (Antony Hands). I ultimately settled on a generic name "North Coast Photography" because:

1. It describes my location - good for SEO purposes
2. It enables me to hire other photographers as I expand
3. It will potentially enable me to sell the business to a fellow photographer when I choose to retire without killing all the goodwill in the name.

Personally, I am really happy with the decision.

I will likely register both domain suffixes, but thought i would just put the one into the poll for simplicity.

Thanks for your replies so far :)
