If you only want to track invoices and customers, you can use Quickbooks Pro and Quicken Customer Manager. Total price under $300.

Hmmm... there is also a $200 version that may do what you are looking for. They offer a demo, so maybe try it out to see if it is for you.

There is also fotobiz.

I haven't used any of these, but I have been considering fotobiz.

I meant there is a $200 version of the Photo One software with less bells and Whistles, but looks to still offer invoicing and such. Photo One has the demos, I don't think fotobiz offers a free demo, but has a money back guarantee.

Sorry, I see where my post was confusing. :o

gotcha. yea i'm still reading the specs on it. i was hoping to get one program that is scalable and versatile for when business picks up so i don't have to buy a new one later.

i google photo one but no one else to carry. do you know who else may have it?

I just began using StudioCloud (studiocloud.com) and I'm pretty happy. They have a desktop client that syncs with a web version. It's a subscription, but I'm really happy with it. I was using MYOB previously. I like this a LOT better.

I discovered it at the Imaging USA tradeshow.

PS Though I have NO affiliation with StudioCloud other than as a customer, they do have a referral program that can save you (and me) some cash. Let me know if you want the discount code.

Thanks Vince, this is exactly what i'm looking for but lacks credit card processing capability.

I'm acutally looking for a one time fee program or per transaction that does the following:

Sending clients proposals/quotes
Send Invoices
Processes credit cards
Tracks Expenses
Reports (sales & expense)
Allow clients to login and see their contract, invoices and maybe proofs?

I believe you're right about the credit card processing. The rest is in the package, however. They do have an add-on to do online proofing. I am signed up, but have not yet used it.

Good luck!
