You know, this Dueling 'D' thing we have going on at our house is really turning out to be a fun thing. Maybe you ought to reconsider and let your hubby have one too..... Our kids (all young adults) think it is great and they are amazed at our photo and computer skills. If nothing else, we have our kids thinking we are 'cool' again:lol: :lol: :rolleyes:

We have dueling Sony F717s and had been having a great time with them until I got my Canon. Now he has camera envy. We plan to get him one as soon as I get my bonus and tax return. Can't decide what to do about the lenses though. We both really like the 100-400, but can't use the same lens at the same time. It's a lot of money to have 2 of the same thing. What do you guys do?
As far as kids go, we got smart and cool again after they moved out and had to put food in their own refrigerator and clean up after themselves.

We buy the lenses we each think will fit our needs... I have 4 and he has two. But when we decide what L lenses we want to upgrade to, we will have to share:(
My big plan was using hubby as an assistant when I do weddings/big shoots so I hope he comes in handy. Since we live just at the base of Sequoia Nat'l Park and 2 hours from Yosemite, I'm hoping to spend more time out doing some hiking and shooting the scenery/wildlife. I have a hard timne committing to going out for a walk but put my camera in my hands and I'll hike 'til I drop:lol:
