Large Format Printer

Hello:
I am large format digital printer based in New York hoping to fine someone who can help me advance my knowledge about product or stills photography.
I have several years of experience using Adobe Photoshop for the Mac, and years of experience doing large format printing and color correcting for picture framing, art gallery work and advertising. This is currently my trade. I want to include doing photography to this.
I am not a neophyte. I have studied and worked with photographers before. For example, I have set up lighting for shoots, silhouetted, retouched and prepped files for web advertising and so on.
I’m not necessarily seeking a paid assistant or apprenticeship position. Pay would be nice but I'm not hung up on that. I’m principally interested in observing and learning about what equipment and approaches are used for food or product photography to be used in website or print advertising.
