Here are a few shots of my dog shelby trying to take a nap, she is starting to hate my new toy! I am new to DSLR's so any tips or criticism is welcome.

Lighted areas over exposed... but want to tell you she has beautiful eyes!

I knew the light was over exposed, can't seem to get it right, exposure is really beating me up, but I keep clicking away, trying until I figure it out:cool:

I've a Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel, the dark colouring and bright light make it difficult to get the exposure right for the face. I've found the best way is to use fill in flash.
