C&C on new web design

the website is unfinished and most of the text is just to fill in the spaces :lol:

could you guys just tell me if the design is good?
i dont really like flash, so decided to go for html site. :cool:

I like the design. First, I like the blacks and dark greys. For photo sites, it brings attention to images. White backgrounds overwhelm. Also, I like the way you have placed the logo / name above the banner, which kept the logo off of, and from obscuring the banner as you more often see. I'm not really sure if I like the wood texture tabs, tho. Nothing wrong with them, but if it were me designing the site, I would try tabs that follow the black / grey theme of the rest of the page. Don't know, I would have to see. Good job.

I agree. I like the colors, but just not feelin' the wood stuff.
