Salt Lake City??

I just moved to Salt Lake City and was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good photography shop. Give me the details of where it's located if you know!

Hey, I'm from Salt Lake City. I moved away about a year ago after I got married but I'm going to move back after my divorce gets settled (haha). Anyway, I really liked dealing with PictureLine in downtown Salt Lake City. They're right on the corner of 200 South 200 East. I think they're proper address is 240 South 200 East. Let me know what you think of them.

I will second the vote for Pictureline. Very nice and knowledgeable people working there. Competitive pricing as well.
I buy all my gear and print supplies from them.

i also agree with picture line. Infact, that's probably the ONLY place you should deal with. Other places like Inkleys should be avoided in my opinion. Stick with PictureLine.

Just for reference sake, Pictureline is now located at 305 W. 700 S. They just barely moved.

And get your butt up the mountain to photograph the colors east of Ogden in the Monte Cristo range, right away. By Oct it is usually too late, but Sept is usually awesome up there. Incredible high-country aspens!!!

I was born in Salt Lake City but my family moved when I was five. I had been back a few times since but not for about thirty years now. I miss the beautiful mountains that overlook the city. Could someone post a picture of Mt. Olympus for me so I can compare it to the one in my memory? Thanks.

Just for you RTMiller, Mt. Olympus.

In my opinion, anywhere in town makes for a lousy foreground for these majestic mountains, so please excuse the composition. However, I do like this perspective of Mt. Olympus as this location is near to where I grew up, so is a very familiar view.

Wow! That's beautiful. Thank you Tom. I can remember a very shear face that seemed to be almost vertical, similiar to the steep slope in the left of your pictures. The tallest point in Delaware is Iron Hill which is about 450' so this is really a sight for sore eyes. Thanks again.
