Kevin Barnes took his psychedelic circus freakshow on the road, and while he didn't have the full-sized white horse which made an appearance @ the NYC show, it appeared that he and his fellow merrymakers/prankster/dancers/band members brought everything else. shot for spin.com (http://spin.com/articles/montreal-get-psychedelic-boston)

we could shoot the whole show, but only up front for the 1st three. so i retreated to various balcony, soundboard, or side wing locations for the duration.

That is freaking awesome man. I've been living in a cave how long have you been getting published over at Spin.com?

Wow, I didn't even realize Of Montreal was on tour, I'm a big fan of these guys. Looks like it was a fun show to shoot. I like 6 and 7.

Really great series of shots Tim - they look like a photographer's dream.

Aha, another group that I would love to shoot that will never make an appearance at the casino, sigh. Nice shots ... I think Rene should give you another eight to round it out. :-)

This brings back memories Tim! Excellent work, once again. I do enjoy their music, but these guys were ridiculous live.

Visually, they were a dream to shoot - so much interesting stuff happening on stage all the time. But shooting at the Orpheum (even for the whole show) significantly limits the shots you can get. While the place has "character" and "history," it was certainly not made for photographers.

Nice work though Tim!
