Is it possible or effective to connect 2 or more Off Camera Shoe Cords for extra length? I am wanting to experiment a little with E-TTL II flash positions.

Thanks for the reply. I've read the how to post-didn't care for the look of it for my use. I have also seen the longer cords. I did find a very nice looking cord conversion (you send in your cord, they make it longer) but is was $70. I already have a OC-E2 and an OC-E3 but didn't want to just connect them without checking this out for fear of wiping out my 580 or camera.

Yes, connect two canon cords together will work.
