More target practice using the 500/4 w. 1.4x, on 1D Mark II. Sorry for not coming up with some more exotic birds, they are all still in Africa (or wherever they now go during winter) :)

The birds are ok . . . but that lens must be sweet! To make these look like that. Nice set of shots and nice work as well, thanks.

Very impressive work!,. there all amazing but the Gull shot is spectacular! :shock:

Can't help thinking that second Duck has a strange expression ... like he's got something stuck up his a*** :lol: :lol: :lol: Have a look at it again! Amazing shots tho'.

It's how I set these shots up. Maybe a bit undignified for the birds, but it works.
Don't you think I managed to clone it out nicely though?
