This is a friend of my daughter who just loves to pose. Please feel free to comment, critique and provide any feedback to improve my shots.

Might not be the best way to describe them. They were not in a studio and for the most part unplanned. I sorta asked her to come over and sit down, snapped a few pics and done.

Its good but I bet she has a nice smile, might be nicer to see her smile as her frown is making me depressed :(

Probably more accurately described as "informal" portraits. That said, don't get hung up on labels - just keep going.

Will see if I can get a smile out of her tomorrow!
Thanks!

I think the second one is better just because of the pose. BUT the face has some dark shadows that makes it less attractive.
Also, the background and her cloths needs to be nicer. Her knees are dirty. Also the dog is distracting.
But I know its tough to catch a perfect pic on the fly like that. Just my observations.
