More Coyote Ugly

I went back last night and shot a few more photos at Coyote Ugly. I'm trying to interest the management in licensing shots for their web-site, not much luck so far. They seem to think they should be able to use them free just so "I get my photos on the Internet". Oh well, I'll keep tryin'. Meanwhile, enjoy. Spring break is in full swing around here and it's pretty crazy at times. These girls (and their fans:) ) were having a pretty good time.

symes: Used my 420EX with a Lumiquest Mini-Softbox. All shots were done with a 20D and the 24mm f2.8 at 1/60 and f5.6, set for evaluative metering (I've found this works best in a bar).

Great shots and great babes, but the whole "coyote ugly" thing is getting pretty old. Time for a new bar movie for everyone to rip-off for awhile. Remember how long bartenders were throwing bottles around after that silly Tom Cruise flick?

You've got to take the flash off the camera!

I'm serious! LOL Get a 550/580... clamp that 420 facing directly on the bar, and shoot from the side.

420 as the main and 550 as the fill light. Whee! :D
