I took the battery grip BG-E1 off of my rebel the other day and I noticed the thumb wheel turned funny, well I took the scews off of the top plate to reveal two metal gears and a plastic gear molded into the thumb screw that had teeth missing, well I called Canon and talked to a lady about the part and she assured me she knew which part I was talking about and when I received it , it was the on and off switch, has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know the part number? I have to call back Monday and if I had the part # that would be great. Thanks in advance.
