As an amature myself I will still offer a couple suggestion on 3 of the more glaring points of three photo's.
orchid-1) I think it is obvious. Out of focus.

garden view-1) IMO there needs to be more attention to the monument. There is too much to look at. The branches in the foreground are distracting. Editing needed to lighten up the photo.

garden view-2) too dark. The pole is distracting and can be removed in photoshop. Crop out the sky.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Look they are lovely photographs.

Obviously some are underexposed... and... the light was flat ... and... the time of day is not given. So there is lots of room here for you:

* to get to know your camera better
* to shoot several shots of each subject and to peruse the images on site -- i.e. to check whether exposure looks reasonable
* to return to your favoutite subjectc, while considering alternative seasons, lighting (e.g. morning, evening, after a rain)

Let us know if this is your first camera.

Also, what do you want to achieve as a photographer (e.g. record shots of trips, beautiful landscapes).

Hi, I will take a shot in the dark and say that the answer to Howie's question about this being your first camera would be yes :) I am not tryingt to be mean but your photos seem te have all the subjestcs right in the center which is very common for the beginners in photography (I know because I was there just few month ago :) ) There is a lot tips I could give you but it might be easier to stir you towords som reading material here (http://www.kodak.com/global/en/consumer/pictureTaking/composition/composiMain.shtml) is a good start. Koddak's site has a lot of basic tips that everybody should know. Read through them and have fun implementing new found ideas. Wolcome to the hobby and have fun.

Hi Guys.

Thank you for your comments. Yeah I am a newbie, and this is my first digital camera, though I will not say it is my first camera.

Well, the weather is definitely cloudy that day and I would like to be able to take beautiful pictures...
