Vancouver, BC, near the entrance of Chinatown.

The Sam Kee Building was constructed in 1913 by Chang Toy after the city expropriated part of his land to widen Pender Street. In an act of defiance, he built the 1.8-metre-wide building.
Years later, the Guinness Book of World Records officially designated it the world’s narrowest building.

I've seen another narrow building in the usa that is supposedly 4 feet wide, narrower than 1.8 meters. That was built to spite a neighbor's view.

Upon further searching, I noticed it says 'narrowest office building'.

That's quite a funny building Create..

I was going to mention the apartment in Amsterdam as well... It was featured on a travel show I saw some time ago.. really bizarre.. the whole place is as narrow as a galley!

It was a tiny footpath between two buildings,. that they just filled in,. I think it's three or four stories tall.
