I discovered this after trying repeatedly to shoot using live-view while tethered to my Macbook Pro. The Canon EOS Utility freezes after about 60 seconds, regardless of what I was (or wasn't) doing.

I can usually get one shot before it freezes, but I usually have to force quit and restart the EOS utility and power cycle the camera.

Anyone else experienced this? I'm trying to confirm it is related to Leopard f/w and not something else.

Thanks for any input!

Have you updated your Canon apps? I had this problem with DPP and EU, and updating them resolved the problem.

I just tried my EOS Utility with 2.2.0.2 it has been open for a bit now with no problem, I will try with my camera attached when I get home. But I don't see any problems.

Well, I updated the EOS Utility and DPP (I like the new features in the EOS Utility!) but it is still freezing up after a shot or two.

I guess this is why I have a PC and a Mac!
