Writing content for website

Hi All,
I'm after everyone's opinions about writing the content for my website. The thing I'm having problems with is deciding if I should write it in first or third person and also what to say.

Any ideas would be great!

First person, unless your company is writing about you :)

As far as the content, it really depends on the purpose of the site. Hard to guess, with so little info at hand, other than I'd suggest keeping the content focused on meeting the purpose of the site. I'm not one for tossing in lots of content that has a marginal relationship to the site.
