Two posts in two days. I haven't been this prolific since august :D :D . Last week was a great week for photos. I got these while flying in and out of Laguardia on Tuesday.

Here is downtown NYC. Is that the Freedom Tower I see getting built? If it is, man those guys build fast.

Here's one taken just before sunset.

This doesn't have anything to do with NYC. I just wanted to show off my sweet new ride and photo platform :D :D :D . Look, no hands :D :D :D :D . Autopilot rules!

Hope you enjoy.

Nice shots. Can't answer your question, but I know they move fast at times. Love the view of the cockpit.

Nice shots, and nice ride.

Does that glass cockpit allow you to do some Photoshop work while you fly ? Do you still tap the glass to check if an instrument is stuck ? ;)

Cheers

Nice shots. The big apple is awesome from the air. Had a chopper ride around the city once but didn't have a camera with me. Damn!

Great shots, I love em. Every time I see NYC from the air I'm amazed at the number of high rises and their concentration. I'm sure one day it's all just going to sink ! ;)

Sorry, no Freedom Tower yet - site of the old WTC is still a big hole in the ground last time I drove by...
Great photos!

Thanks everyone. I start the same trip tomorrow. I'll be flying into Laguardia on tuesday. Maybe more pics??

Michael,

They were taken last tuesday, honest. I think you can see some snow in the first one if you look close. It was pretty warm the day I took these shots.

Geeeyejo,

No freedom tower yet... Too bad. It must be some other building I am seeing getting constructed.

Actually, it's not mine. It's owned by General Electric. They just let my bankrupt airline operate them out of the goodness of their hearts.

If I had a ride like that I'd brag too, I don't care who owns it.
Oh yeah, nice photos too.
