This is a variation on a shot that I recenly posted in the share forum. Personally I really like the juxtaposition of the london eye and St Stephens tower (Big Ben).

Any critiques would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

I like the black and white. Too bad the wheel wasn't another color then white, then you could make the old B&W and the wheel color.

What is the purpose of that wheel besides making london look like it has a Giant Bycyclist in it?

Very nice.

I like the old/new theme, especially with Big Ben in the foreground. The lighting on Big ben is fab as well. Maybe could have waited a little longer for the sun to set further and get lighting on both angles of the tower?

I like shots where there is a main theme (big ben) and some additonal interest (the london eye).

Well done!

rammy - you are right, it would have been nicer if I had waited a little for the sun.

cheers :D

I really like the clouds. Big Ben looks like it is connected to the clouds. Also the bottom right is a little bit too dark.

Thanks for pointing out the bottom right - I hadn't noticed that! :)

Big_B,

Good photo.

My personal preference is for less perspective distortion. I took the liberty of editing out the perspective using PS.
This is the result:

Don, thanks for taking the time to comment. Apologies for being so slow to reply, but I've been away for the last week. Personally I always find that the perspective correction looks a little unnatural. Each to their own though. I appreciate you showing me a different option.

Cheers,

BB:)
