Retired Fire Station

This station is in a small mining town in Arizona.
As some of you have noticed, I am a firefighter by trade. I do love taking photo's of fire related objects.

Interesting shot. It lends itself well to B&W.

Too much like a snapshot. All centered and flat. And not much you can do with it shot head on like it is. So, perhaps if you move to the side and shoot it at a different angle it might help. Or perhaps its just a shapshot of days gone by and that's its interest.

BTW...what would be really interesting is to find out who designed the building and the doors and then found out the doors didn't open wide enough without extending the slides outside the dimensions of the building. The chief must have signed the work order without asking the firefighters. :)
