I had some time on my hands due to 6 degrees (not including the wind chill which was -37) outside, so I thought I'd make a few posters to show a local promoter. Actually, she's a bit more than that. Have you heard of Liz Larin? It seems that she's a good friend of Barbara Payton.

These are sized for a 12" X 18" print.

This is my favorite local group. The thread with images is here:

This group was the opening act:

These guys had so much frantic energy, I tried to show some of it in the poster.

Nice, Frank! I always got flack when my collages were more than three or four images but what you've done is what I think is most natural for a photographer! :-)

Thanks, Dwight! Luckily, I only had to satisfy myself with these, & I like trying to make the images work together. Your method would have saved me about 5 hours with the first one. ;)

It is the joy of creating that is most rewarding anyway.

Nice ones Frank...

I'm tempted to make some, from the many shows I've captured... It's a very presentable way to summarize the event.

summarize the event - I'm tempted to make some, from the many shows I've captured.. That, & -37 degrees of wind chill are as good a reason as any? :D
Plus, if you had to shoot at ISO 3200 In the "available darkness" that some high school gyms have, my crappy big prints magically become good looking small ones! The lighting on these was acceptable overall, but I shot my first v-ball tournament at f/2.8 & couldn't make a 12X18" print from any of them. It is the joy of creating that is most rewarding anyway. True, but keeping the berries warm is stronger incentive!

EDIT: I forgot to put this link in the first post:

Heads up! For anyone watching TV Tuesday PM, I've just learned that Barbara will be performing with Kid Rock at the Inaugural Youth Ball that President Obama will be attending. They will be doing about 4 songs acoustically and one of them is suppose to air on MTV between 9-11pm.
