C&C welcome.
Decided to try out the new 430EX II along with the 50mm f/1.8 while my boy got a bath. This was the first time I really used the flash.

number 1 and 3 have nothing for me. Did the flash really fire here?
number 2 is way cute, nice action and expression he has. except i dislike those hars shadows.
all 1st three shots have major distractions,l I think if you do a bathroom shot, you need to care all is squeeky clean, i know this is a pain in the ass, but if you want to show off images and get critique.
The three last ones are keepers, nice subject, nbicely wrapped, nice looking towel and nice calm clean background. they really speak, a tad of tweaking with post process would make him pop. not bad really!

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.
1 and 2 the flash did fire, but I was almost on the floor and clearly didn't have it set at a good angle for a nice bounce, so they did come out a bit dark (this is what I am really working on figuring out right now). I noticed teh shadows on the second one as well. Again, didn't get the angle of the flash quite right when I went to portrait orientation. (and yeah, our bath tub needs some work...lol)
The next three were all in his room on his changing pad and the light is much better in there, so the flash didn't have as much work to do. I really liked the purple towel against his green walls.
