Every year [this was the 67th year] the Sunbeam motorcycle club organises a ride for 300+ relics to ride from the Epsom downs in Surrey to Brighton seafront... it's quite a spectacular sight seeing all these old machines.. some of them i believe are pre 1900.

Not quite in the same leage as what Kenny's been to see up at Croft today, but it's nice to see where the sport grew out of if you get my drift.

Here's a couple that i liked... not too sure if the B&W works, but its the first time i've posted a B&W pic so what the heck ;)

i think B&W's the way to go with old school bikes, since most photo's during that time span would have been b&w.

Nice shots and the B&W treatment works well. I'd clone out the black and white roadside marker (? or whatever it is) in the second shot if you can though, it spoils that "period feel".

Great shots, B+W works really well :D

But ... I guess you did not just find it spectacular seeing them, hearing them should also be quite special:wink:

Best regards,
Andy

Wonderful B&W photos. They must have been fun to see and hear in person. Thanks for posting. Feel free to share any others you might have. :-)
