So I won a prize a while back and I won this this nifty printer from Canon. (http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=118&modelid=10074&sa=true) The retail is something along the lines of $250.

I'm glad that I won a prize at all, but now that this has arrived, I don't think I really need this prize and I'm considering selling it on Ebay or something. Just for your information, I'm shooting a 300D with various lenses and the printer can print direct from camera up to 4x8 (including postcards). I'm going on a 2-week trip from Vegas to New Hampshire in about a week, so I think it would be cool to use this during the trip to send postcards but... after the trip I feel like this wouldn't be very useful for me. I'm also a little superstitious that one shouldn't sell prizes. But I'm also broke and need some money. So:

1. Does anybody have experience with this printer?

2. Is this kind of printer going to deliver decent quality shots (if I take good shots) directly from camera w/out processing?

3. Do you think I should keep this thing or sell it?

4. Is anybody superstitious about selling prizes?

I have the model just below this one, the 220, I believe is the number. While it is fun to use, as one watches the post card go in and out four times, it doesn't print very sharp pictures. For what it is, it's nice. I'm almost embarassed to say I've bought so many printers that it is now in a plastic bag under my table. I brought it to my last christmas dinner where I entertained folks with instant photos. That's about it.

I started with the Canon S9000 which was great. Then I got the Canon 960 to have in my office for slow times at work so I could do some printing.

Since graduating to the EpsonStylus Pro 4000, I just sold the S9000 and haven't turned on the other two in months.

I have no experience with this printer, but you can buy them for about $210 at reputable places on the internet. Might be better off giving it to someone you know.

I dont like the small printers. The pricer per print is very expensive here in Canada. Kodak and Canon have very similar small format printers but the ink carts are weird and u can basically only buy genuine and the paper for the kodak is quite odd for 4x6 (i dont know about the canon), so i dont really like them.
