I think the title is too political. Also, the photo does not look good technically. It is hard to tell what those elements moving out to the sides are.

Hi, I dont really qualify in commenting on the technical aspect of the shot (as you may tell from my post count) But I will say what I see to be wrong and the first issue is the shiny ribbon looking thing to the right of the man held at gun point, this is kind of distracting as well as shiny bits above the head. Secondly I maybe would have tried to go for more detail on the face of the guy below but the 'G. I. Joe' looks fantastic.

Over all I like the idea though. As for the title I would have to agree with Franz, maybe try for something a little more light hearted and comical, but the choice is yours.

I think the title is too political.

 how is the title "Murder... Dolls" Political? Because it's a GI Joe?

As for the rest I think the parts coming out to the sides are the arms of the other doll on the ground. I thing it's a great shot... No pun intended;)

I am not sure I should comment as there are rules against political comment. However, YES, with current world situations, showing an American soldier commiting murder could be considered, at the very least, in bad taste.

looks more like a cop to me. The uniform is not even close to a united states soldier and only reason you got that idea of this being an american soldier is because of the "gi joe" on the shirt. What's next? "Hey that white doll is killing a black doll.... that's racist!!"
Oh no I better look behind me to make sure the PC police doesn't arrest me.

I guess if you do not get it, you don't get it. The funny thing is that you are the only one who brought up race.

Look "GI" up in the dictionary. After you get past "Gastro Intestinal", maybe you will understand that, YES, GI means American Soldier. Some of us who served are a bit sensative about it, correctly or not.

Is the GI Joe a standard toy? I'm looking for a male doll or two to go with my female dolls. See this thread Here thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=633156)

I either need to get a life, or get to a toy store!

"Someone like me"?? See, I have to appologize to you now. I did not realize that you are a mind reader and can tell what vile thoughts oyhers might be getting ready to express.

I never thought racial here. THAT is why I happened to mention that You are the only one to bring it up. I am pretty sure I was right, You were the only one to bring it up.

I'm done. My whole reason for posting was to point out that this is a forum for posting and commenting on photography. Using it to make political comments is WRONG and should not be tolerated.

While he is the only one to have brought up race that is the same thing I thought when I first saw it. When I saw it I thought it was suppose to be a police officer as well which I thought looked even worse.. the hat he is wearing looks alot like my PD issue hat. White officer with a gun stuck to the back of an unarmed black persons' head...

His uniform says "GI". Either way, the title was insensitive. As far as I am concerned, there is no argument that can change that. In fact, any argument that TRYS to change that is just as insensitive.

I am not disagreeing with that. What I said was at first glance it looked like a white cop with his gun to the back of an unarmed black persons' head. I think the picture looks cool, I was simply saying what I thought when I first saw the picture.

I was not disagreeing with you. I thought the pictures were OK, although technically not too well done. My only complaint was with the title and I personally think, always have thought and always will think - "GI" means GI.
Coupled with the title, this appears to be, intended or not, an assault on our brave soldiers.
