Let me know what you think. Obviously I used photoshop to sharpen certain areas in the foreground, increased colors and saturation. But overall I'm happy with my new f/4L 17-40mm with my Rebel XS/1000d! Stopped down to f/8.0 otherwise this lens is soft an large apertures :oops:

Very nice! I love the colors and vibrancy in both photographs, I think you did excellent and the 17-40 really performs well!

I like the car quite a lot, i just wish it was moving. The eyes tend to travel a bit in that picture though but the lighting is good and the coloring is clear. The only real thing I can see wrong with it is the car behind it.
#2 is pretty, if it was possible the sky is pretty bland, I would think about cropping most of that off. The large building on the left is way to bright along that edge, it makes me want to look at that more than the rest of the image.

i like the porsche..and i like the photo of the porsche ;)
I would try to clone out the powerlines and other car, if you have the PP skills (I dont), but otherwise great capture

Thanks. Yeah you know what I didnt even notice the car behind the car! WOW. that does ruin it :( ill check to see if i did continuous mode haha. hmm.. i'll try to ps the lines out.

Nice shot of SD. I would clone out the three stars, or planes, in the atmosphere.

just me or is the second one oof? or maybe based on the text it's a bad resize job?
