I was bored tonight and decided to play around in some areas of Photoshop my mouse normally does not visit. I thought this took on a pretty unique look and decided to post it.

I like what it did for the ball, but not the players.

I like it. I wonder it would work on one of those great shots that is not exactly in focus.

Good question. Since I have LOTS of not exactly in focus shots I will have to give it a try.

a good place to start would be PS - Filters - Filters Gallery - Stylize - Glowing Edges

That is what I did and then played around with the various sliders until I got a look I liked. I also went back and did some general exposure adjustments to darken up the background a bit more so it stayed basically black when I did the filter.
