Wordpress blogging and slideshows

Has anyone had any luck getting a slideshow on a wordpress.org designed site? I host with godaddy for my blog, if that matters...and have not had any luck at all with the demos of ProShow Gold or with ShowitWeb. I've got a slideshow that I would really, really like to be able to blog about!

There are a few widgets that let you create slide show from images in a rss feed. So you can use your site's rss feed as an input to that widget and it will pull the images from there and create slideshow. Google for "rss slideshow widget" should get you some.

I use one on my blog (http://blog.thezenart.com) using the same approach, though it's on blogger.
