I looked at this cover (along with another by Lowepro?, possibly Tamrac, can't remember now) at B&H today. Didn't get it though. Anybody use something like this?
With a 1 series camera and an L lens, is there a worry shooting unprotected in a light rain?

It's not as "sophisticated" as the Kata cover, but I use one of these:

I use the 15" version for handheld shooting. It's kept my camera dry when shooting kids sports in the rain. If you're using a longish lens that's always on a tripod, you might need a longer cover.

I've got one of the Kata's. They're great and not really very expensive. Gives me better control than a garbage bag (I've tried those) and much sturdier.:)

I also use a Kata. It has allowed me to shoot in conditions (heavy snow, rain) that would make my think twice without it. I'd recommend it.

Well worth the cost ... I picked up the E-702 and the E-704. The 702 is great for small bodies alone and adding the 704 gave me the right amount of coverage with the 100-400 attached. The 704 comes with two sleeves, one will cover a lense up to 650mm while the orhte is for 350mm or smaller. Also included in the 704 is a hand sleeve that can be placed under the lense extension, keeping the hand which adjusts the zoom dry. The clear panels on the 702 allow for easily reading the lcd's on either a 300D or a 20D.
