Blog in my site

Hi All,
After a bit of advice, I have decided to put a blog on my website to keep everyone updated about where I have been taking pictures etc.

I'm not sure if I should run it in my website or run it along side in Wordpress or something.

Any advice would be great :)

My personal opinion would be to use something like blogger blogger or wordpress. This will save you from hassle of installing/maintaining your website and you could focus on the blog. I would suggest that you try to keep the same look and feel on your gallery and blog, and that should not be too difficult given that both blogger and wordpress let you choose your templates. This way you can put the links to both gallery and blog on both the sites and user clicking on these links won't feel they are being taken to a completely different website.

If you have your own domain, I would also suggest that you map a subdomain like blog.yourdomain.com to your blog site. You can do this for free in blogger, not too sure about wordpress. I use it that way for my gallery and blog site and it seems to work well.

I already have a website with a gallery etc it.

This is why I was wondering if I should embed the blog into the site aswell or just use wordpress and have a link to it?
