Water glass and cell phone

I was just fooling around the other day with some product shots. The second shot was purposely undefused because it was for a school project on overhead light. Please C&C.

They are both basically good images, but I find my eye being drawn to the out-of-focus part of the phone. Otherwise it's a nice clean image. The finger prints on the glass are a bit distracting to me.

you have to light glass from behind with a scrim for a defuser.
