Here's the list as I see things...not sure who's going or not, but these are the folks who still showed some interested despite the SuperBowl Sunday thing.

As Shomat suggested, 11:30am, Starbucks, corner of Canal and Centre Streets.

Be there or...well...you probably have better things to do (like host a SuperBowl party) than to take a bunch of photos of folks in a Parade.

Another rule. No talkin' 'bout Starbuck syrup and all that crap!

So the 4 of us. It was super crowded, but we managed to secure a good spot on the parade route. The parade lasted for a little over an hour. I had a great time.

The 200L is impressive in person. I genuflected upon first sight.

All except #6 and #7 were shot with the 1DMKIII + 200L f2 IS.
#6 and #7 were shot with the 5D + 50L.

Unlikes last year, where we were literally walking WITH the parade, we were stuck on the sidelines so the "interactivetly" was definitely limited.

It was lots of fun...

Thanks! The 135L is amazing. The 100 f/2 was my favorite and most used lens for a long time, and now that title has quickly been taken over by the 135L. It is beyond sharp.

Nice job on the confetti shot with the motion blur on the brushes of the street cleaner. Also, I like the shot of the 3 businessmen on the red float. I took one of them too, but yours is composed much better than mine. Nice work making a great scene out of a subject that can easily come off looking boring.
