No, it's not, because he still has solid foundation. In other words, since his butt is solidly on the skate board, he will not be seen as floating.
BTW, the lighting is very good, but the contrast is a little high. You could use a little more detail in the highlights, which should come about through reducing overall contrast.

Its not really a problem in this example, but, since you did chop them... I would rather see the image more tightly cropped. Seems to be a lot of head room for not allowing space for toes. I also don't see what the extra wall space adds so it could be cropped as well IMO.

Agree with jetboy and flyinbrian. Crop in more so that the feet are not bothering you at all. Nice picture!

I have to disagree with any additional cropping. I cannot imagine to what purpose.
In my opinion it would be a mistake.
