New Sensor cleaning tool from LensPen SensorKlear Loupe

I just ran across this while looking to buy a SensorKlear pen but think I am going to wait because the pen has been redesigned with an angled tip in order to work with the lighted loupe...and even if you use a wet clean I imagine this loupe might make it a lot easier to make sure you did it right.

Looks pretty nice, just can't find them anywhere yet. According to the LensPen site they are due out this month sometime. They say the MSRP for the Loupe is approx. US$59

Dude...how in the "L" would I know? :p hehehehehe...but like you probably did I will use my favorite search engine to compare...then post what I find back here... heck, I never even knew the one ya mentioned existed.

You should be able to see for yourself in the above link.

(psssst...the main difference I see on a few seconds glance is that you can leave the SensorKlear Loupe and SensorKlear pen at the same time. There is an access hole for the pen...you do not need to remove the loupe from the camera and can see what is happening.

It will be interesting when someone does a review comparing the two cleaning systems.

BTW, I am actually considering buying one of these lighted monocle style jeweler's loupes for about $10 shipped before I buy one of the more spendy on sensor loupes...
