I might be inclined to crop out the dock in the foreground and see what it looks like...not sure if it will be any better but Ithink it might put more focus on the bridge...

i like it just the way it is. i think the colors are wonderful. perhaps a little saturated, but it works.

Thanks for the help. It looks like another investment has to be made. It's just difficult to try to convince the wife that I need more software that will probably make my beautiful flat screen look like crap, or that I need to invest in a CRT monitor just for photo editing. I just thought I would give it one more shot, but it's obvious that I still have some problems. It's just no fun guessing anymore. Thanks guys/gal for taking the time to help.

As I look at this photo, which is very nice, I see the bridge as the dominant structure. With that being said, to bring more dominance to it, make the photo b/w with the exception of the bridge. Leave it it's vibrant red colour.

If you know PS, I don't think this would be too challenging to do. Thanks for sharing!
