Well for my parent-in-law's anniversary I'm going to do some shots of the three sisters (one of which is my wife) Ages 29,27 and 25. All attractive girls. Her folks like black and white, so I'm setting up a little studio in the game room and have a 9'x12' canvas light grey drop cloth I plan on trying to use for the background. I also live on a golf course so we'll do some early evening shots there in color.

Does anyone have any sample shots of say three females bust or shoulders up, cascaded one slightly in front of the other? I'm trying to think of ideas to make these shots count. I guess I'm just looking for guidance on nice posess for three girls in various situations. Kinda vague eh? I have a pair of 550EXs and I'm thinking master and slave, slave being 100% power high and 45 degrees, with the master also being 100% but using a Lumiquest 80/20. I also have a couple handy dandy reflectors, silver and gold. I was considering using a constant light source reflected with the disk(s) vs. flashes, but I don't know how to hold the reflector AND meter the shot! I'd be on timed shutter release mode, and I'm assuming that the exposure is set and locked when the timer is started, not as the light changes. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

Thanks for any tips!
Adam

I saw a pic... i think on photo.net (i'm pretty sure) of a family.

Basically, you photograph all 3 profiles so that each facial feature repeats itself... and they partially block each other... like layers or something.

I'll try to find it.

That's kind of what I'm thinking about, I've just bot been able to find something to use as an example. I'm curious about setting up light for such a situation... I suppose I'll get the room nice and dark and try a single light...

Thanks for the reply,
