Here is my old STi with 310bhp Prodrive upgrade, which I also traded. I really miss it, like a member of the family leaving.

Why did you guys trade in your STI's...?
ya don't like em anymore.
I test drove a WRX once.. felt really nice, boost was sooooo nice.. Just the car felt a bit lofty,(heavy).. I am not used to that as my car weighs 2300 lbs., and the other 1800lbs.

ya, mainly the wheels and full coilover suspension. The date for this years cruise is July 23rd. Starting at the Asheville arboretum and ending in Cherokee (where we started last year). mark your calander http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif

I traded my STi because I had it two years and I did 65,000 miles in it. I bought an RX-8 which was the worst mistake I have ever made. As an ex racing driver I can agree with Mazda that it is perfectly balanced and you can really throw it around a circuit. Apart from that it is gutless and has seats that the Spanish inquisition would have been proud of as torture devices, plus those stupid rear doors were only any use if you had 10ft at the side to open them. I hated the damn thing.
Now have a Seat (VW based) which suits my work as a photog a lot better.

I'm about on pace with that with my STi... 40,000 miles the first year of ownership... of course, 2004 STi's are a bit more rare over here than they are over there :D

Wow KennyG! Sorry you hated your 8 so much! But coming from the raw power of an STI, I can see that. I've had a Blue RX-8 since May and I love it. It definately loves to be thrown around... Can't wait for this stupid snow to melt here in MN so I can get my winter tires off and go for some real cruising (and get some pictures with my new 20d).
