Hello all,
I am new here and this is my first post. I come from film and at the moment I am considering all options to go to digital. Canon has great appeal to me since I come from Contax, have several manual focus C/Y Carl Zeiss lenses which I found out I could use via an adapter on several Canon bodies.
However, a line someone wrote in a thread at the Leica User Forum that caught my attention is this:
"... if it is true that Canon has bought the Contax assembly line and the rights to Zeiss lenses ..."
Does anyone know anything more about this rumor. If true that would be the final nudge for me to go for Canon I guess.
