Hello, can someone give me some advice please.
I want to print an A3 photo onto 2 x A4 sheets (in other words cut it in half and print out the two halves) and am unsure how to go about it.

This might get more answers if you have it moved (ask a moderator) in the "Post Processing" section.
I would use the crop tool.
First get you picture the size you want it (i.e. 2XA3 size)
First duplicate you picture.
Now you have two copies.
Select the crop tool and in the menu bar enter the A3 dimentions.
Now user the crop to cut you photo in half.
Do the same on the other copy but for the other half.

if you have WinXP I think you can right click the file and hit "Print Picture" at that point it has a prety intuitave set of options for what size and how many you would like to print (it even fills the page up with as many images will fit)

This is an interesting question, especially if you have a printer that prints to the edges of the paper. Otherwise, you're going to have to do a little trimming of the print to get rid of the border.
