Well, thought I'd take out the new ABs tonight and annoy my dogs a little bit. Any critiques are more than welcome. I've been taking studio lighting night classes for the past few months, but this is the first I've actually set it all up on my own. Tomorrow morning I plan to do high key lighting if my models will cooperate again

I can't comment on the light other than to say that I like them. The pups look good.

Nice series.
IŽd use little bit more light on the left side as the black fur looses its detail really fast if too dark. Dark background works well on these.
#1 works best for me

Thanks all. I agree, the left side needs just a hair more light. It was my first time messing with the lights and I now realize I had the remotes hooked up wrong and the light on that side wasn't firing, doh!!! Of course by the time I got them on the computer they'd had enough and there was no talking them into sitting there again.

Beautiful dogs. Love the first one especially. Can't wait to see high key.
