Just a short clip that myself and fellow photog. friend Blair Bunting put together shortly after unboxing the 5DII. For those looking into the low light and DOF options that this thing affords - it is certainly no joke!!

bigcountry not sure what you meant by manually?

focus ring was operated manually if that is what you are referring to..

A nice 'trick' to controlling DoF (ie, aperture) despite the camera's best efforts is to go out and buy some nice Carl Zeiss, Olympus, Pentax, Leica or Minolta glass - I picked up a pair of Contax CZ lenses and a Yashica for 175 euros (glass is immaculate, tiny bit of oil on one aperture blade, outside is well loved) - a CZ Planar 50/1.4, Distagon 35/2.8, and a Contax Yashica 135/2.8. Manual aperture ring, manual focus, but it's cheap, it works, and they're great fun to use anyway!

Can't wait to try this out with my own camera when it arrives! (which should be any day now)

Awesome video in general. The only thing it lacks is smooth focus, especially in some scenes like the one with the wine glass. The first scene with the car is nice tho!
