So far I really like the camera, it's going to be a bit of a learning curve transitioning from film and I realy have to get a battery grip my hands are too big to fit.

Hi KiwiRob. I can only say positive things about your shots, because they are from your new 20D!! That's all that matters. It's a wonder there's no camera shake from the sheer excitement of holding the baby. Took delivery of my new 70-200 F4L, 50mm 1.8 and 1.4 teleconverter today. Hands are still trembling....
Look forward to some more great shots of Auckland. Must have been taken today - there's not a breath of wind and the water is flat calm. What a harbour!
Cheers!

The photo was taken on Sunday morning at Takapuna beach down by the boatramp. The one of the Skytower was taken from under the Harbour Bridge at the Northcote Point end.

I really like the 20D but need to work out a few things, it's not as easy as shooting film, there ain't no lab to make your shots look pretty and my PS skills are poor.

Excellent shots, even if they weren't your fist pics from the camera :)
