[Ebay...] Ebay wireless camera shutter release. - help?!

Has anyone ever used this wireless camera shutter release for their camera?

The reason why i bid for it is...

a) it was cheap
b) it looks like it has the same design as my ebay flash triggers, which i absolutely adore.

Not sure about that one but I know people have used the one from the link below with good results. The page said wireless flash but it's wireless remote. The error is probably in the translation

I bought one very similar from an ebay store called linkdelight a while ago and it works very well indeed.

It is actually the same as the ones sold by Hama:

Could be that they come from the same manufacturer!
