These were taken with my S1 IS. I have a Digital Rebel now, but have yet to get any good lower light club shots out of it. I'm still learning how to use all the setting and whatnot, and I'm wondering if maybe a different lense would be in order for the kind of shooting that I do (which is primarily night club shots). Suggestions and comments are welcome. Thanks guys!

P.S.- The resolution might not be as good since photobucket resizes everything over 200kb.

I don't know what an S1 IS lens is, but for low light photography look for the primes with apatures of F2 or faster.

The S1 IS is a Canon point and shoot camera. Thanks for the aperture tip though :-).

I really like the 0601 image, particularly the way the blue spotlight shines through it.

the color in the first one is cool. It's hard to take good club shots, the lights are too weird. You cant use the flash either or it will ruin the look.

Yeah, I'd say I get one halfway decent shot for like every 20 or more maybe. I am hoping I can get some better ones with my new Digital Rebel. Any lense suggestions for shooting stuff like this?
