Hi everyone! I have a mommy friend who wants me to do her 2 year old daughters birthday pics. My daughter isnt 2 until april so I havnt even thought of How im doign her photos yet, in terms of props, etc.

Heres my scenario, and maybe someone can help me think of some stuff I can put in the shoot to make it fun, for a 2 year old, and make them distinctly birthday photos.

I shoot with a white fleece backdrop, and sometimes patterned wrappign paper (see flickr). I do NOT have studio lights, I use natural light and my 430 EX II.

The mom knows this, but loves what I do , and wants me to take them anyway, great no biggie. I would LOVE to do her daughters photos. It will add to my portfolio.

So Any ideas??

The shoot is at 10 am sunday morning, therefore im not sure I can pick up balloons and still have them inflated for the shoot... Or have time sunday morning to do it.

I dont have a flooring for her to sit on where if she had cupcakes or something, it would make a big mess, and well shes sitting on fleece.

Im stumped ! TIA! Maybe make mock presents with elaberate bows and such???? is that a good idea ?

What about a birthday crown with a tutu? I know it's not a backdrop but it would make it for sure a birthday picture.

I found a local boutique that carries them.
They even had one that had happy birthday ribbon in it. You couldn't really see the words though.

What about a tshirt with iron-on letters/monogrammed letters that says, I'm 2! or Birthday Girl? That might would be cheap and easy!
